His leadership has been instrumental in delivering more than 4M SF of development for Amazon’s HQ1 in Seattle’s Denny Triangle, as well as overseeing 2.1M SF for HQ2 in Arlington, Virginia, including Phase I (Metropolitan Park) and the design and permitting of Phase II (PenPlace/Helix). His portfolio also includes high-rise office developments in Seattle, a two–city-block mixed-use project in downtown Bellevue, and ongoing advisory and due diligence work supporting Amazon’s expansion in Nashville and New York.
Jacob specializes in leading projects end-to-end, from early-stage strategy and site selection through entitlement, design, construction, and operational transition. He is recognized for building high-performing, cohesive teams and for thriving in complex, fast-evolving environments. His ability to flex beyond traditional scope and apply multidimensional problem-solving makes him a trusted partner on high-stakes initiatives.
Prior to joining Seneca Group in 2012, Jacob spent eight years at Sellen Construction, where he delivered technically complex projects in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. His work included major developments for Seattle Children’s Hospital, UW Medicine, and St. Anthony’s Hospital, spanning integrated project delivery, ground-up research facilities, and acute care environments.
