AJ is a Development Manager with more than 12 years of experience delivering complex construction and real estate projects. Since joining Seneca Group, he has supported major development and tenant improvement projects on the East Coast, helping clients navigate planning, design, construction, and project execution. He is known for his analytical approach, technical expertise, and ability to coordinate diverse stakeholder groups to achieve successful outcomes.

At Seneca Group, Ajinkya has played key roles on several high-profile projects, including Amazon’s “Hank” redevelopment within the historic Lord & Taylor building in New York City and Shaver Hall, a premier food, beverage, and entertainment destination in the same landmark property. These projects required close coordination among clients, consultants, contractors, and public agencies while addressing adaptive reuse, historic preservation, and renovation challenges.

Prior to joining Seneca Group, AJ served as a Project Manager with New Line Structures & Development, a New York City construction management firm, where he specialized in landmark building renovations, interior fit-outs, and facade restoration projects. Working in one of the country’s most demanding construction environments, he developed expertise in project planning, budgeting, consultant management, construction oversight, and schedule execution.

His background in both engineering and construction management provides a strong technical foundation for his work. He is particularly skilled at evaluating project risks, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and helping stakeholders make informed decisions throughout the development process.

Ajinkya holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Mumbai and a Master of Science in Construction Engineering and Management from Columbia University.
