Challenge
Meta sought to enhance the workplace experience at its Meta Dexter campus by increasing meeting and collaboration space, improving dining capacity and flow, renovating the main lobby, and optimizing underutilized areas. The project needed to support maintaining existing seat counts and minimizing disruption to ongoing operations. Additional challenges included addressing food service challenges, improving workplace adjacencies and meeting space, and executing construction within a fully occupied building without impacting business continuity.
In Progress
We are leading planning and implementation of a phased workplace refresh focused on improving collaboration, employee experience, and operational efficiency. Working closely with Meta’s cross-functional teams and the project partners, we helped identify underutilized spaces and develop strategies to increase meeting room capacity, enhance culinary offerings, optimize circulation, and improve access to amenities. To maintain uninterrupted operations, all construction is being carefully sequenced during nights and weekends, culinary renovations are phased one floor at a time, and the lobby renovation is structured to preserve continuous building access and security throughout construction.
Outcome & Impact
The project seeks to create a more vibrant, efficient, and productive workplace by improving access to meeting spaces, collaboration areas, dining amenities, and employee services while maintaining overall occupancy capacity. Through strategic space optimization, phased implementation, and sustainable reuse of existing assets, the refresh is intended to enhance the employee experience, support evolving workplace needs, and extend the long-term value of the campus.
