Challenge
Snap needed to densify its Seattle operations from three floors to two while maintaining business continuity. The project required refreshing existing floors and relocating employees, amenities, and support spaces before a fixed lease expiration date, all within an occupied workplace. Aggressive schedule requirements, phased implementation, permitting timelines, and the need to minimize disruption created delivery challenges.
Solution
We managed a phased workplace refresh to support the timely vacating of one floor and transition of employees, amenities, and support functions to other fully refreshed floors. Working closely with workplace, facilities, design, and construction teams, we coordinated permitting, budgeting, scheduling, contractor activities, and stakeholder communication while sequencing construction within occupied spaces. Through proactive planning and continuous schedule management, we maintained business continuity while keeping the project on track for key occupancy milestones.

The project positions Snap to successfully densify and refresh its Seattle footprint while maintaining workplace quality, employee experience, and operational continuity. By increasing seating capacity, relocating amenities, expanding meeting space, and optimizing support functions within their main floors, the refreshed workplace supports Snap’s evolving regional real estate strategy.
