Challenge

Tower 2/Juno required aligning multiple stakeholders, priorities, and timelines to deliver a seamless extension of Amazon’s Nashville Yards campus. Working on behalf of two internal clients, the project needed to integrate workplace, training, and amenity functions while maintaining consistency with the adjacent Tower 1/Anne. Midway through the project, the workplace program was strategically refined to better align with evolving business needs, requiring the team to adjust scope, budgets, and schedules while preserving project momentum. Two clients, two decision-making processes, and overlapping design and construction activities within a single building.

Solution

As the central point of leadership, we convened two internal teams, the developer, designers, and contractor around a shared vision from the outset. Our team aligns project goals, schedules, and budgets across both clients while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency. By advancing early MEP planning and procurement ahead of final program decisions, we maintained progress while design continued to evolve. We leveraged continuity in the project team – including the same architect and contractor for both Tower 2 clients and the same architect for Tower 1 – to create a cohesive campus experience and streamline coordination. Through proactive planning and communication, we helped both client groups achieve their unique objectives within a unified project framework.

Outcome & Impact

Tower 2/Juno enhances Amazon’s Nashville Yards campus, creating a next-generation workplace and training environment seamlessly connected to Tower 1 and its shared amenities. The project supports employees across the Central, Southeast, and East regions with flexible workplace, collaboration, and learning spaces tailored to evolving business needs. By unifying multiple user groups within a cohesive campus experience, the project strengthens operational efficiency, employee engagement, and long-term flexibility. It also contributes to the continued transformation of Nashville Yards and creates a vibrant workplace destination enriched by local artists, operators, and community connections.
