Creating a public-facing visitor experience required coordinating a diverse group of designers, content creators, exhibit fabricators, and technology specialists. The project combined tenant improvements, exhibit design, multimedia production, graphics, lighting, and AV integration within a single delivery effort. Existing conditions also introduced complexity, as the facility was constructed within shell space completed years earlier as part of the Seattle Center Garage development. Accommodating the sloped structure below while creating a seamless visitor experience required thoughtful planning and technical coordination.

We managed development of the tenant improvements alongside exhibit design and fabrication, helping align the many disciplines involved in the project. Our team coordinated closely with exhibit designers, content developers, fabricators, and construction partners to integrate storytelling, technology, and the built environment. A raised floor system was incorporated to overcome site constraints and create flexible exhibit space above the garage structure. Consistent management across design and implementation helped maintain alignment from concept through opening.
