About
Michal is a construction and engineering leader specializing in complex, technically demanding projects, known for his expertise in MEPFP coordination, trade team leadership, and delivering high-performance outcomes on accelerated schedules. He joined Seneca Group in 2025 and brings over 10 years of experience across life sciences, industrial, and commercial sectors. Michal has led project engineering efforts and managed multiple trade teams on ground-up commercial projects, overseeing day-to-day operations while ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and quality objectives. His background includes extensive work in MEPFP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection) systems and driving design coordination during preconstruction.
Michal consistently applies Lean Construction principles to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and meet aggressive project timelines without compromising performance. Prior to Seneca Group, he served as a Senior Project Engineer at Lease Crutcher Lewis, where he led and oversaw MEPFP efforts on large-scale projects with complex technical requirements.
In addition to his technical leadership, Michal is a strong advocate for sustainable construction practices. As a Founding and Board Member of Skender’s Green Committee, he has contributed to advancing sustainability initiatives within the industry. He integrates this perspective into his project work by developing practical, innovative strategies that help clients achieve their sustainability goals.
Michal holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering with Construction Management and Structural Engineering foci from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
