About
Emily is a project leader and licensed architect with more than 16 years of experience guiding complex developments from early planning and feasibility through design, permitting, construction, and occupancy. Known for her collaborative leadership style and technical expertise, she excels at aligning stakeholders, solving complex challenges, and delivering successful outcomes in demanding project environments.
Since joining Seneca Group in 2025, Emily has focused on corporate workplace projects for Amazon, supporting development efforts in Bellevue and New York City. Drawing on her extensive design and entitlement experience, she helps guide projects through critical planning, coordination, and execution phases while balancing business objectives, user needs, and project requirements.
Prior to Seneca Group, Emily built a distinguished career as an architect leading multifamily, mixed-use, affordable housing, research and development, adaptive reuse, and commercial office projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. Her experience spans feasibility studies, entitlement strategy, consultant coordination, permitting, and construction administration, providing a comprehensive understanding of the development process from concept through delivery.
A recognized leader in sustainability and urban development, Emily serves as Co-Chair of CREDA Washington’s Sustainable Development Committee and is an active advocate for housing affordability and sustainable growth. A skilled moderator and facilitator, she convenes industry leaders to explore topics including adaptive reuse, building performance, and the future of sustainable urban development. Her work helps advance practical, market-driven solutions that strengthen communities and shape a more sustainable built environment.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Architecture from University of Oregon.
