We partnered with Lakeside to align the renovation of Bliss Hall with the school's long-term academic and campus objectives. Working closely with school leadership, consultants, and preservation stakeholders, we helped evaluate project priorities, navigate historic preservation considerations, and balance infrastructure investments with programmatic needs.

We led the planning, design, and construction of the comprehensive renovation of Bliss Hall, managing feasibility studies, permitting, consultant and contractor procurement, budgeting, scheduling, construction oversight, and move-in coordination. Acting as an extension of Lakeside's team, we guided the transformation of the historic building into a modern academic and administrative facility while maintaining alignment with project goals, schedule, and budget.

We coordinated project phasing, user engagement, furniture and equipment planning, and occupancy activities to support a smooth transition into the renovated facility. Our approach helped minimize disruption to campus operations while ensuring academic and administrative spaces were fully prepared for use upon completion.

Renovating a historic building presented significant structural, preservation, and construction challenges. We proactively managed risks associated with major seismic upgrades, foundation modifications, historic building requirements, permitting, budget control, and schedule performance. Through careful planning and stakeholder coordination, we helped preserve key architectural features—including the bell tower and historic façade elements—while successfully modernizing the building for future generations.
