About
David is a Development Manager at Seneca Group with decades of experience helping owners and developers plan, manage, and deliver successful construction projects across healthcare, corporate, multifamily, hospitality, public sector and adaptive reuse markets. He specializes in project management, preconstruction services, budget review, financial forecasting, construction management, and building due diligence. He gives clients the confidence and oversight needed to move projects from concept through completion. Known for his collaborative approach and deep Puget Sound relationships, David partners with architects, consultants, and contractors to keep projects on budget, on schedule, and aligned with owner goals.
Prior to joining Seneca Group, David ran his own construction management consultancy, RCM – Rauma Construction Management, advising general contractors, developers, and owners on projects ranging from historic adaptive reuse to ground-up multifamily and luxury residential development. He also served as Project Executive at Howard S. Wright, leading a sustainable healthcare group focused on the Kaiser Permanente and MultiCare accounts, and spent 16 years at Lease Crutcher Lewis, growing from Senior Project Manager to Project Executive and managing more than 150 projects across office TI, hospitality, adaptive reuse, and healthcare, including managing the firm’s Tacoma office.
Earlier in his career, David was part of the founding team of Unimark Construction Group on behalf of Unico Properties, expanding their work beyond the University Tract and One and Two Union Square in Seattle as a regional competitive general contractor. His experience spanning owners’ representation, general contracting, and construction management gives him a comprehensive perspective that strengthens project planning, budgeting, and delivery.
David holds a BS in Construction Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a Certificate in Executive Development from the University of Washington Foster School of Business.
