Chris Flume
LEED® AP, Principal, Luxury Residential SME
Chris is known for his strategic leadership on complex, design-intensive residential estates and select commercial projects. With over three decades of experience spanning development, construction, and high-performance project delivery, Chris brings calm authority, technical rigor, and exceptional client stewardship to every engagement.
At the heart of Chris’s approach is the belief that excellence is achieved through clarity, trust, and disciplined execution. He leads Seneca Group’s most ambitious and sensitive private residential projects – spanning Washington DC, Southern California and New York, and beyond - on behalf of individuals and families. These properties often involve layered jurisdictional complexity, legacy structures, intensive landscape work, and specialized building programs, all of which require seamless coordination between design vision and operational execution.
Chris works in close partnership with renowned architects, celebrated interior designers, and best-in-class builders, forming highly collaborative teams where creativity and delivery are equally prioritized. His leadership ensures alignment across disciplines, discretion throughout the process, and a final product that reflects the client’s lifestyle, values, and long-term vision.
In addition to his luxury residential portfolio, Chris has been a trusted project lead for corporate clients, overseeing a range of new construction and tenant improvement projects across the Pacific Northwest, including The Spheres, Doppler, and Bellevue 600.
Prior to joining Seneca Group, Chris worked as a project manager for private developers, where he led the delivery of hotel, multifamily, and high-rise office tower projects - an experience that sharpened his ability to align stakeholder interests, manage design ambition with cost and schedule, and deliver with certainty.
Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Washington and a Certificate in Real Estate Finance from New York University. He is a LEED® Accredited Professional, and a trusted advisor to clients navigating some of the most demanding and rewarding projects in real estate.
