PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Named for legendary Lord & Taylor president Dorothy Shaver, Shaver Hall is a The Food Hall Co. offering inside Amazon’s Hank building at 424 Fifth Ave. This adaptive re-use project is a ~35,000 SF multi-kitchen food hall and entertainment venue, featuring a central stage, 11 curated local food vendors, a full-service steakhouse, Michelin-star chef omakase, multiple bar concepts, and a retail bodega. Project complexity included individualized vendor coordination, atypical tenant delivery approach, occupied building logistics, and tight noise constraints. Despite being challenged with an aggressive schedule, the project team has continued to meet the client’s design, permitting, and construction timelines and is on target to deliver a fully integrated, high impact destination in the heart of New York City.
