PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Seneca Group provided real estate advisory and development management services for the renovation of the former Naval Reserve Armory at Lake Union Park into a new home for the Museum of History & Industry. As a strategic partner engaged by the museum early in the process, Seneca was able to assist the owner through a series of complex entitlements, secure historic tax credits, and negotiate key agreements with the City of Seattle to allow the museum to transition to its new home. Concurrent with the museum's move, Seneca Group also assisted in the site selection, acquisition, and development of their off-site Research and Conservation Center which houses more than three million artifacts and photographs not on display.
