Peta Black

Development Manager

Peta is key member of the Seneca Group team that led the development of over 2M SF of office space for Amazon's HQ2 in Northern Virginia. She plays a critical role in managing design and construction teams across multiple development and interior fit-out projects, from smaller secure spaces to expansive corporate campuses. Peta brings deep experience working with DMV K-12 public school systems, working closely with program managers to implement standards, design and construction teams, and AHJs to ensure seamless project execution. She is managing the new development of a uniquely positioned public high school in the DMV. Prior to joining Seneca Group, Peta served as a Construction Manager for Ingleside Retirement Communities and spent over eight years as a general contractor with Skanska USA Building, delivering projects in the government, K-12, and higher education sectors.

Peta holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland.
