Katie Aweida

Development Manager

Katie joined Seneca Group in 2025 as a Development Manager, bringing more than two decades of project management experience across healthcare, corporate office, and technology sectors. With deep expertise in interior architecture, design and construction, she excels at guiding complex projects from early strategy through execution. Her background includes real estate strategy, due diligence, feasibility planning and leading multi-disciplinary teams. She is skilled in problem solving, process optimization and cultivating strong client relationships.

Before joining Seneca Group, Katie served as a Sr. Project Manager for CBRE’s Strategy and Planning Team where she led major healthcare real estate projects and partnered closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders of varying levels. Her career also includes project management roles with SKB Architects, where she led the design and renovation of labs, offices and retail spaces; ownership and leadership of a successful event company; and architectural designer and medical planner positions at Callison and NBBJ, directing the design and construction of hospital facilities.

Katie holds a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Architecture with minors in Graphic Design and Spanish Language from University of Idaho. She is Construction Specification Institute Certified, and has completed NCARB, IDP/AXP, and PMP training.
