In this capacity, from 2002 to 2007 he managed the build out of the $250 million Capital Improvement Program under the Hospital's Major Institutional Master Plan (MIMP), including the new Janet Sinegal Patient Care Wing, Melinda French Gates Ambulatory Care Building, and the planned ED/OR Building Expansion. From 2007 to 2010, he assisted Children's in managing their second MIMP process for a Master Plan which would span over the next 20 years. Under that Master Plan since 2009, he also managed the first phase of development, which is the $201 million project 'Building Hope,' a 330,000 square foot building on a seven-acre site. In this 9-story building, there are two acute care floors and one critical care floor as well as a new Emergency Department on the ground floor. Scott is currently working on delivering two additional acute care floors, one workspace floor, the kitchen to support 400 beds, and the rooftop garden projects.
