Seneca Announces New Hires

The Seneca Real Estate Group is pleased to welcome Chris Jones, Rob Stephenson and Jake McKinsry to the firm.

Chris Jones has joined The Seneca Real Estate Group as Chief Financial Officer.  Chris brings over 16 years of financial management and operational experience.  He practiced as a CPA with Deloitte & Touche in Seattle where he served in their construction and real estate, and technology industry groups.  He has held Controller, CFO and operations positions, and most recently operated a financial management consulting practice focused on strategic planning, financial analysis and organizational process improvements.  He holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Washington.

Rob Stephenson recently joined The Seneca Group after spending four years with Jones Lang LaSalle.  While at Jones Lang LaSalle, he worked on large tenant improvement projects on the Microsoft account.  Prior to that he spent a year in the firm's development management group in Chicago.  Rob is currently focused on a large campus development project and the new church project for First United Methodist Church.  Rob spent five years in the Navy Civil Engineer Corps serving in both Japan and at Great Lakes Naval Training Base in Illionois.  He has a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Management (MBA) from the Kellogg school at Northwestern University.

Jake McKinstry joined The Seneca Group to focus on residential and mixed-use development projects.   Jake was most recently with the Oakland, CA, based AF Evans Development Company, where he was responsible for managing and developing multi-family residential projects in the Pacific Northwest.  His project management responsibilities encompassed:  site acquisitions, financial analysis, entitlements, design & construction management, and sale/lease-up activities.  Jake holds a B.A. from Boston College and a Master of Science degree in Urban Planning from Columbia University and has been actively involved with Habitat for Humanity and Jimmy Carter Work Projects since 1994.
